We hope you’ll be having a rockin Easter weekend, but save a bit for the weekend after because we’ll be playing at the ‘Boot & Shoe’ in Ackworth on Sunday the 15th April.

It’s our first time at the Boot, but we’re really excited as this place has a great reputation for live music.

No Sex please – we’re Classic Rock

Every now and again, our carefully crafted set list (i.e songs our simple brains could learn) won’t be enough, and someone will ask us for a request.

We’re always open to suggestions but we are a Classic band, so if you ask for ‘sex on fire’ or ‘anything by The Jam’, then don’t be surprised if we mock you…

If there is something rock/metal you’d like us to learn (that doesn’t feature rock god like guitar or vocals), then why not get in touch via the ‘contact us’ tab or see us Facebook.

Hopping Good

“what?”, “eh?”, and “pardon?” – these are all common words in the Justice Rising camp, thanks to last night’s audience at The Hop in Wakefield.

What a noisy bunch you were – think you may have destroyed our hearing for days to come.

Thanks again for being such a great crowd, hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.

Welcome back

We had a top night at the Bull & Fairhouse on Saturday. The new tracks went well, and as always at the B&F the audience was great.

Somebody complained we weren’t on for long enough (clearly a glutton for punishment). We aim to please, but think that 2 and half hours, with only a 15 minute break is pretty good going.

If you live in Wakefield and want to hear more excellent Classic Rock, then we’ll be at the Hop this Friday.

As well as rock n rolling all night and partying every day, we’ll be making time to learn some new material.

Top gig at the Tarn Inn last Friday – great to see so many ‘metal heads’. Thanks for all the positive comments and track suggestions.

Hopefully we’ll back there next year (though probably not with any ‘System of a down’ songs).

Busy Weekend

It’s been a busy weekend for us with some really great audiences;

Friday was a very warm and loud return visit to The Lion in Castleford, we would have happily played as many encores as you wanted, but we’re all getting on a bit and needed some sleep before hitting the stage at the ‘Townfest 2′ festival yesterday afternoon. It was all in aid of a good cause and hopefully plenty of money was raised.

We’d just like to thank everyone for their support, cheers, dancing, and air guitaring. If you liked what we did, then spread the word! See you at the next one….
